majorslack.com – This video kicks off the 2 hour New Haven run of my Borderlands walkthrough. In this run, I cover the Corrosive Crystal Harvest mission in the Tetanus Warrens cave complex which includes meeting up with King Wee Wee (really.. that’s his name) and doing a Claptrap mission. Plus we finally get to meet the colorful and conceited Patricia Tannis and a new (yeehaw!) redneck named Crazy Earl who tasks us -among other things- with collecting some kickapoo joy juice for him. This series of 12 videos covers the following plot missions: * Seek Out Tannis * Meet Crazy Earl * Get Off My Lawn * Hair of the Dog And the following side missions: * Corrosive Crystal Harvest * King Tossing * Claptrap Rescue: Tetanus Warren * Claptrap Rescue: Scrapyard I’m starting to skip a lot of side missions because I feel my character is levelled up enough to continue without doing them. So for now, I’m skipping them. If the game starts kicking my a$$ then I’ll start doing more side missions. THE GLITCH? I noticed also that the official strategy guide lists Today’s Lesson: High Explosives as a plot mission and as a prerequisite to getting the Hair of the Dog mission. But I somehow managed to skip over it (got the Hair of the Dog mission right away when I turned in the Get Off My Lawn mission..?) THE SH!T The highlight of this run is the acquisition of a ridiculously powerful new weapon which is just to die for (in fact, I actually had to die to get it). And I kid you not, this baby is …
